The Phoenix Rising after Traumatic Brain Injury
Neurological Self transformation practices that re-birth true internal peace
What is Phoenix Rising?
The phoenix is a mythical golden bird associated with renewal and regeneration. Rising from the ashes of its previous life, the phoenix is a symbol of hope, of life and of better things to come, born from the knowledge and experience of difficult times and challenging circumstances
What does the rising phoenix symbolize?
A symbol of transformation, resilience, and rebirth. The allure of this mystical creature lies not only in its beauty but also in its profound symbolism.
The immortal Phoenix never truly dies. It continually rises from the ashes, just as the fiery sun “dies” and is “reborn” every morning. Because the Phoenix willingly sacrifices itself to death, it's able to regenerate and gain awareness and spiritual growth.
When a person embarks on a journey of transformation, it's akin to the mythical Phoenix rising from the ashes. They discard their old self, challenging the perceptions held by others. And that's when resistance steps in. People tend to box others into rigid perceptions, based on past experiences and interactions.
After a head injury and going through a recovery process, one will undertake a personal transformation that is unique to them as a person. Hopefully those on their recovery process listen to their gut instincts and inner guidance to ensure optimum results and in my case a brand new person altogether.
With that being said, I am launching the next edition to the Neuronknit Series called the Whole Knits Series.
The Whole Knits Series will cover daily habits that can and should be targeted after a Traumatic Brain Injury such as,
The gut-brain connection: bacteria naturally carried in the gut may influence brain chemistry and behavior
Parts of food we throw out can be used in many ways that give you MAX benefits
Things that happens when you heal your brain AND strengthen neurological function.
With this series, I will continue to release free knitting patterns for recovery process of any injury. These patterns will focus and include natural yarn dyes from food, flowers and plants.
Here is a previously release pattern of a knit project bag knitted with yarn dyed from carrot top leaves.
